My Growroom pics. and questions for my grow

i see you bought the htg light pakage how loud is it or is it even noticable the ballast

like how loud is the humm.

bigweed-yea i plan to put some bleach in a spray bottle and drench the walls the day before i set up the room. then i was going to line the walls with mylar. good idea? also, if i have my intake coming from outside, which i plan to do, how will i be able to keep temps up when the lights are off during the winter. my closets going to freeze lol. would i hinder the growth of my ganj if i used my basement room temp air as an intake and had the exhaust go outside? i just thought getting fresh air to my plants would be better than the air in my basement. also can my hps system house a 400w bulb or do i have to get a whole new system? cause i would love to buy a 400w bulb and upgrade to that. also what do you mean about drilling holes in my floor for ventilation?

You will be better off having your fresh air coming from your basement. There's nothing wrong with that air, and its temperature is generally much more stable that the air outside. Your girls won't get frostbite in the winter when the light is off, and you won't be bringing in 100F degree hot air in July or August. My suggestion was to put a grill in the door that is the entrance to your closet as an air intake. Ideally that grill should be as low as possible (cold air sinks, hot air rises). Then have a fan pump air thru the filter and outside. This should be placed up as high as possible so that you catch the hot air.

Just try keep temps at around 70 at night and around 75-78 with lights on those are the temps I shoot for. No you have to buy a 400 watt ballats. The way your closet looks you might have 4 inchs of space under your floor. And in front at bottom outside you could drill holes and place a grill in front of the holes to make it look like theres a vent there. through the holes in the front comes the air from the basement and up through the holes in the floor giving your space fresh air. hey big weed one more question...i just bought a 180 active air blower. im following your exhaust setup...i actually found some pics of ur setup wen u were growin WW on here...printed a pic of ur blower and scrubber and told him i want exactly that. they had the blower but he was telling me that the blower you and i have isnt strong enough to get air through the carbon filter so i needed to buy a different blower. the one he showed me like a big bowl that attaches right to ur ducting. that cant be true though right? because arent you using a scrubber with that blower? why was he tellin me it wasnt strong enough. anyway i told him id be back 2marrrow after i spoke to u or whoever else on here that could help me. should i buy the scrubber?
