Pricing - The Unconvenient Truth
I live in a suburb of Chicago, named Wilmette. The standard prices here are $20 for a gram, $60 for an eighth, $110 for a quad, so on and so fourth. These prices are not uncommon at all. Most people who live in a rich, suburby town like I do pay the same prices. A large portion of New York, any suburb of chicago, and many many other places. And now to the point.
Whenver i see a thread and somebody says that they got this eighth for 60 bucks, or they got an ounce for 410 or even a bit more, there are always atleast several replies saying "damn thats fuckin pricy you got ripped off" or something along those lines, when the truth is, they didn't get ripped off, and you're just lucky that your prices are cheaper. I could drive an hour and go down to the city of chicago, and get an eighth for $30, but it would be very hard to find a dealer that far away, plus i'm 16 and i don't have a lisence or a car.
Anyway, i guess the point of this thread was to inform people that not everybody is as fortunate as them when it comes to pricing, and it's extremely common to have to pay $20 per gram, $60 per eighth and so on.

Word. I'm pretty sick of people saying "ZOMGZ YOUS GOT RIPPED OFF BITCH" just because someone paid $10 more dollars than they usually do.
Prices, for anything and everything, vary by location. GET OVER IT.
Unless of course someone is paying $50/gram. But I hate when someone says someone got ripped off because they paid about 10-15 more than the other person would have. I mean, if your paying $80 for an 8th, then I would not pay that and would call it a rip off. But $65 for an 8th of dank might be a good deal for some.

what about delivery services?
ive been hesitating about using a new delivery connect, because they charge $50 for 2 grams. its supposed to be GOOOOOD quality buds though, plus the convenience of not having to go to some shady neighborhood to make a pickup

If you pay $500+ for an ounce of any kind of weed anywhere in the world, you are getting ripped off. If you don't like the term 'ripped off', then you are just simply an idiot. That's that. "Well that's how much it goes for around here". Well, you can always not buy it. "But I want something with a name!". Well, then buy it..but you're an idiot if you do.

Good post. A lot of people here forget that weed is illegal and that directly effects prices. There is no standard pricing.
People like to brag about how cheap their weed is. Nobody cares! It's borderline rude!
