    Building a vaporizer... Suggestions welcome?

A friend and I are currently building a vaporizer... much like a hotbox vaporizer... its going to be a cube made out square tiles affixed to a smaller wooden cube, its going to have a valve that allows the smoke to fill in the chamber then a fan on the opposite side of where the draw tube will be attached so alternatively it can fill bags like the volcano! We will be using a soldering iron for the heat element and we are going to regulate the heat inside via a light dimmer... i'll post pics when were done

Suggestions anyone? I can use all the insight i can get?

I do have one question for te community... does anyone here know what the ideal temp for a vaporizer to be running at?

probably not worth your time. the soldering iron and heat plate type of vaporizers are inefficient because they only make use of the weed on the heating element or very close to it. volcanos and other premium vaporizers are like an oven that blows hot air across the weed to maximize the utilization of your primo ganja. that said, have fun!

Research using the vaporizer found the delivery efficiency highest at around 226 degrees Celsius- Vaporizer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We've got a pretty decent work around for that... were planning on putting a chillum type bowl on the tip of the iron to the heat rises into the bowl and thus vaprizes the bud
