help cleaning my stem

hey y'all,

awhile back the stem to my bong broke and since then I've been usin one of those long metal wind chimes (lol) and it's actually been workin' great. I've been cleaning the resin out w/ a pair of scissors and I get a pretty good amount but theres still alot more in the middle I can't reach. can anyone help me think of anything I can use to get it out?

A straw. . . long q-tip, long match, soap, I got to see what your talking about.

soak in scalding water? add salt and rubbing alcohol?

just boil it, that would work wonderfully. throw it in like 2 inches of boiling water and stir it around to get all the resin out. then you can filter that water through something and get smokeable resin. theres actually a guide on it at the top of this forum

Just find something long and strong enough to scrape the sides of the metal tube stem. It's impossible to get all of it, so when the rest is impossible to get off, get some Isopropanol Alcohol/Rubbing Alcohol, it comes in 70% and 99%, get the 99%, and it's sold at most drug stores. Soak your stem piece in that that. The take some hot water or boiling water, with some salt, and rinse it out really well.
