leggy seedlings w/plenty o' MH
Hi. I've got some unexplainable leggies.
1 week old big bud seedlings. been 18" below a 250MH @ 70 - 80 deg 50% humidity ever since planting. The temp has dipped a few times to mid 50's. Leggy as ****!
Fresh soil
Bulbs about 6 mo old/ agrosun.

you should be able to get a 250 watt lamp alot closer than 18 inches would expect you should be able to get it within 5-10 inches from the lamp to the tops of the seedlings do the hand test to help determine how far away the light should be, put a small fan on the seedling to where they are barely moving a little.
and when you transplant in a week or two plant them deep up to just below first round leaves.

no it wont cause stem rot, just make sure you dont overwater and have good drainage from that cup, would wait a week or 2 before you transplanted

i use a 250mh and i keep it about 8"
