Actually, I think disc golf (we call it disc, I agree folf sounds stupid) requires more skill than regular golf.

There are about 4 course in my area (and loads of unoffical ones) and they cover quite a bit of area. Its not like you're just tossing a frisbee around. You're driving it 100 to 200 yards, usually through and around trees. Remember you're not using some floppy frisbee, you're using a much more stable and heavier disc... I actually carry 3 when I play to make different throws with. I'm a minimalist like that.

So you have to learn how to throw the disk to go straight, to curve, to cut S-turns... I know that's a step away from the classic "hit the ball with a club as hard as you can". But not all of us can afford 18 holes at the country club every weekend.
