My "simple" flowering questions (lights and soil/ nutes)
1) Lights
2) Soil
3) Nutes
1. But is it worthwhile to top the plant, or I should say would the main cola just become thicker as opposed to the two of them growing? I'm just using CFL's bout 208w worth of CFL's 2- 42 watts (2000K, flowering bulbs Which I figure just need to be placed at the top of the plant),3- 26 w , and 2- 23 w ... just don't know which way to go.
Will this be a sufficient amount of light or should I focus more on one color of light over the other? I'm just assuming that you don't want all of you're lights promoting flowering only because the bud sites are going to be using that 6000k light to promote its healthy growth. So should I only use one 42w 2000k for flowering, and I could get a 42w 6000k bulb... any suggestions?
2. I??m having a big problem finding soil that isn??t loaded with 3 months worth of Nutes!!! That is in any of the department stores around; perhaps I need to contact someone in charge of one of the greenhouses in town that are closed for the season. The nearest store that is totally dedicated to gardening and open is an hour away from me?. But I??m gonna need to transplant it into at least a 5 gallon container I have bigger ones if not? I have some aquarium pebbles at the bottom of the container it they??re in now so I actually have even less dirt!!! The only problem I have with the soil is that it said naturally fertilizer that would feed the plant lots of ??natural fertilizers? anyone wanna give me a thought?

3. I saw they had 15-50-15 mixture of plant food that??s like a commercial one, but I??ve read some things that were positive though most people seemed to be leery about the possibilities however, can anyone say something about that to me I??m just not sure if I need to add nutes to have a successful grow or not though everyone seems to talk about them I just don??t want this 15? plant to die for my greed unless I can find some professional stuff and probably in turn have to learn a lot more about that stuff here on this wonderful wealth of information website? almost too much!
I mean I've read what there is on this site, but I'm the type of guy who would like some stronger confirmation than just my own brains answers....
Hopefully this isn??t too much to read! Thanks!KL4D4 Reviewed by KL4D4 on . My "simple" flowering questions (lights and soil/ nutes) 1) Lights 2) Soil 3) Nutes 1.
