Lock Bumping - Is your deadbolt safe?
I hope someone goes and buys a bunch of rabbits, cats, and gerbils to fill their home because of the pet suggestion.

If I were to grow cannabis, I would only do so to supply myself and my close friends. Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors.[/SIZE]

i ain't gotta worry about this shit lol.. we don't have any locks on our door... well, we have a front slide bolt type thing on the front door, but ti's only ever locked at night, and the back door has a really old dead bolt like from 30 years ago... but it's virtually never locked either...
that's the one good thing of living in a piss poor part of town in one of the worse off houses... we're surrounded by houses that look 4x as good as ours, and have better cars in the drive way.. and you can just tell they got something worth stealing...
we don't even have to worry about anyone breaking into our house... (knocks on wood) shit if someone broke into our house it would be out of pity to bring us stuff instead of taking it...

Yea that's great how they show the media how to do it. Now I know how to break into houses if I ever need to. Not like it's ever stopped me before...
I have to break into my house everyday afterschool because I have no key. Sliding my ID through the slot and jiggling the door. My ID is all screwed up now though XD

locks are a false sense of security anyways.... you could have a solid steel house with solid steel doors and no windows, and if someone wanted in bad enough, they would be in...

Just spend a little extra on a bump-proof cylinder, in a strong "Segal"-type deadbolt lock. I've been using Medeco cylinders for many years - they're also pick-proof. Most burglars will just pass them by and look for easier pickins'.
