I remember the old days when dad used to be in the army, thos schools used to kick ass :O, no shit was taken from any lil kids who though he/she could rome around doing what they wished!

But it should be up to the kids parents to disipline them, the teachers are there to teach, they should'nt take away freewill. Hell, i can't even say i don't believe in god other wise i'd get fucking sent out the class room, stupid assholes just try to make everyone else think the way they do. I am of the same thought but saying that I also understand that there are uncontrollable kids who love nothing more then going against any kind of authority.

mostly option 1. But a little of option 2. If kids are to decide how much work is done, nothing would be completed.

option 3- ran with higher budgets and a more even playing field so all kids in america are given the same chances...

oh, and about 30% of high school kids on average across the country will not graduate...time mag. just did an article on it.

I can't see this being a fair judgement because most of the people on here are still in education so I think they most of them would go for option 2 but people who are older remember how respectful youngsters were when there was more discipline and how disrespectful most are now.

I picked option 1,but I don't think it should be quite as strict as you lay out..students should be able to express themselves in a debate,for instance. Kids should be treated like kids,not adults..even 17 year olds,should be treated like kids,unless they're like I was and went into the military,at the age of 17. When they turn 18,they should start being treated like adults..they should be encouraged to register to vote as well as register for the draft. Kids need discipline and order,in their lives and it's up to the parents to do that and help them git their priorities straight too.

School uniforms save lives,because when kids sometimes wear the wrong colors,they git attacked and sometimes,killed over it.
