They already do that dude. wtf u on about? Apart from hair lenght but they don't let you dye ur hair any UNnatural coulors like pink or some green ect. and yes they do control how we speak, if i want to ask to take my blazer off i have to say "MAY i take my blazer off?" and not "CAN i take my blazer off" other wise i get shouted at. They control what we say, they make sure you don't swear, they make sure you don't talk about anything apart from the lesson subject. Its already like that so why is that option there as "stricter"?

Yes, i am at a catholic school too. You HAVE to do what they say, wear what they say, and your not aloud to talk in lessons, peroid. If you do you'd get sent out and if you kept doing it you'd get kicked out the school.. They tell us what we can and can't do at my school. EVEN outside school. When i was waitin for my bus i was smokin a cig and a teacher come's up and tells me to put it out. because im still near the school and still in school uniform they said it gives the school a bad word. Its just fucking bullshit these days. Or it is at my school anyway. You loose more or less ALL rights and freewill when you walk in.

I know its the same at my school. It sucks cause we have an awesome football team and they get way too many fucking privelages. Like 2 years ago there was some party in a brand new house that was still kind a being constructed. Apparently people got drunk and really trashed the house. Like punchin holes in the drywall and stuff. Anyways long story short all the guys who were not on the football team got expelled (all guy school), but not the football team. Oh God Forbid if players on the football team get in trouble. Pisses me off

I know kids in secondary schools have very little respect for teachers. I know it was very disruptive at times when there wasn't enough discipline. I prefer college because if you don't want to be there then they kick you out. They don't have time for bullshitters and neither do I!
I chose option 1 but I disagree with schools dictating hairstyles and clothing. I don't see how those two things affect learning...

When they turn 18,they should start being treated like adults..they should be encouraged to register to vote as well as register for the draft. Kids need discipline and order,in their lives and it's up to the parents to do that and help them git their priorities straight too.
School uniforms save lives, because when kids sometimes wear the wrong colors, they git attacked and sometimes, killed over it.
Have a good one ...

i think they should keep it just the way it is. i mean our system has been very effective. if u look at graduation rates around the country most people are graduating. howeever it doesnt always work out for everybody. like in my case. but thats y they have alternative high schools now. if u implement to many rules then the students will just fight back. if u let the students decide how shit is done they will just make it way to easy and everybody will be dumber for it. so like i said the school system right now might not work for everybody including myself but i still thinks its the best system we could hope to have cause it works for most people.
