How should it be run?
Poll Option 1 - Stricter
This means more rules, more punishments, ergo more control. Control the kids, make them sit down and shut up and do what they're told, and learn what they're supposed to learn whether they like it or not. Control what they wear; their hair length and colour; control how they speak, what they say; basically if they do what they tell you then they'll learn what you teach them.
Poll Option 2 - More 'liberal'.
This means less rules, less punishments, ergo more respect from the students. Let them decide how they dress, how they act, how they talk. Stress to them how important education is, and let them decide how much work they do. Respect them, treat them like adults, and get respect back. Be friends to the students, not dictators. Let them make their own dicisions, and take responsibility for those decisions.
