well to answer my own question, the type of guys i go for varies a little bit. i used to really be attracted to thugs/country boys with grills, but now i am definetly not anymore. i like my guys classy. i love tattoos & piercings. i think guys with mohawks are pretty cute too. good hygiene is a MUST. but don't wear cheap cologne. and he should smoke weed too

I'm often attracted to ethnic types, too, particularly Latino and black men. I think this is because I've had a lot of exposure to Latin cultures and because, unless my family has been way off in its research, I myself have a percentage of at least 1/32nd, possibly as much as 1/16th, sub-Saharan African DNA myself. I'm about to have some ethnic-genetic testing done on myself to confirm this. My heritage is almost completely in the deep Southern U.S., and that's a very common trait most of us with many generations of Southern history share--intermixing of black and white back in our genetic heritage. I want this to be the case very badly, and for me, it'll help confirm why I've often felt such a deep attraction and sympathy for people of other ethnicities.

LOL! Only people who've never had the experience of being black would want to be black. I wouldn't trade who I am for anything, but I can tell you it's got it's own set of challenges.

I just want to have confirmed that I'm at least part black (it won't be a very big part, I'm afraid). I know it has its challenges, though. And if I think about that too long, I get furious about the types of narrow-minded people who've helped create and perpetuate those challenges, both in the last four centuries and currently.

In my next life, I hope I'll get to be 100% black just so I can have the experience fully. While I'm at it, I'd like to request that be allowed to be Mrs. Denzel Washington or possibly Mrs. Terrence Howard.

I had my genetics tested at FamilyTreeDNA. My general DNA "Print" came out:
