Bud is usually cheap (200-250/oz for top quality) and easy to find, just hang out on Hastings St. where the pot cafe's are mostly at along with a couple nice neighborhood bars. I've had good luck scoring at the Canadian Bar which is a block from Emery's old HBC store (now a bookstore I hear) and the toking bar on Hastings called Blunt Brothers. There is also a great bed and breakfast run by a couple of ladies also involved with Amsterdam Seeds and used to run the Amsterdam Cafe a block north of Hastings where you can stay for around 100/night and have access to the best local stuff available. But I usually head off for Texada Island and spend a few days and nights with the seals on a great little beach and motel called The Retreat...great place to just hang and get toked out as long as barking seals at sunrise doesn't bother you much, LOL.
So are these pot cafes open to the public or are they private too? I'd like to know if there are any open pot cafes.
Lovely07 Reviewed by Lovely07 on . Is pot legal in Canada? I am posting this to ask a question. I wanted to know if pot was legal in any parts of Canada? I have heard from som it is, but also from others that it is not. The reason I am curious is because I have been wanting to go to Amsterdam just to smoke a large variety of pot. I am an average stoner, so I spend most of my vacation funds on pot. So if it is legal in any part of Canada I figured I could go there instead. Can yall please help me with this? Also if it is legal what is the going Rating: 5
