MOBABN Reviewed by MOBABN on . Is pot legal in Canada? I am posting this to ask a question. I wanted to know if pot was legal in any parts of Canada? I have heard from som it is, but also from others that it is not. The reason I am curious is because I have been wanting to go to Amsterdam just to smoke a large variety of pot. I am an average stoner, so I spend most of my vacation funds on pot. So if it is legal in any part of Canada I figured I could go there instead. Can yall please help me with this? Also if it is legal what is the going Rating: 5

Ha ha! I reread what I wrote and I totally misunderstood what he said. Makes me wonder what I was thinking. I get it now, it isn't a bad thing.

I don't want to say on here where this cafe is. It is a secret for a reason, but if you're looking for herb in Vancouver, downtown headshops is a good place to start. Stanley Park is where tons of stoners hang out, so you'd have to ask someone. Down by the beach is another place small dealers like to hang out, by small I mean if you're looking for grams and such.

It isn't legal here and the cafe isn't 100% legal either. It isn't a sitdown cafe either. You just walk up some stairs, hand a guy some money through a slot, and he gives you your product, and you leave.

If you're looking for 2 ounces, you may have to buy from a few different people. People will be sketchy if someone they just met asked for that much.

But an ounce usually goes for $170-$200 for good island smoke, but if you want some Beasters, a good smoke still, just mass produced, you can get ounces of that for $140.

So you'll have to ask around a bit for some herb, but it is everywhere and is highly tolerated by the police.

Thanks for the info. I want several strands about a quarter of each. So I do not mind buying from several people. I also want the highest quality product, so I do not mind spending the extra money. I really wanted to know if it would be worth me traveling there to just smoke.

There usually is high quality here. I haven't bought a bad bag since i moved here. Beasters I would rate a mid quality smoke, and Shagg. weed is against the growers codes here. Nah, but there is no shagg. weed to be found.

Some of the strains my guy has grown so far have been Rocklock, Romulan and many Blueberry crosses, just to name a few. Good stuff is everywhere.

But yeah, hit up the local parks (Stanley Park is huge and is loaded with potheads) and there are several other ones right downtown. Hit up the headshops and strike up a conversation with some of the people around there.

That's the best I can suggest. When do you plan on coming?

Anywhere in B.C. you can score smoke of the highest quality. It's probably the stoner capital of the world.
There are many people out there who have seemingly thought-out arguments that cannabis is harmful, and no amount of logic I can use can cure their ignorance. So...I simply spark a bowl.

I visit Vancouver and the islands nearly every winter and can safely say $1,000 will give you an outstanding and near 1st-class 3 day stay! That is my budget for a week and includes a couple nights at the downtown Hoilday Inn! Bud is usually cheap (200-250/oz for top quality) and easy to find, just hang out on Hastings St. where the pot cafe's are mostly at along with a couple nice neighborhood bars. I've had good luck scoring at the Canadian Bar which is a block from Emery's old HBC store (now a bookstore I hear) and the toking bar on Hastings called Blunt Brothers. There is also a great bed and breakfast run by a couple of ladies also involved with Amsterdam Seeds and used to run the Amsterdam Cafe a block north of Hastings where you can stay for around 100/night and have access to the best local stuff available. But I usually head off for Texada Island and spend a few days and nights with the seals on a great little beach and motel called The Retreat...great place to just hang and get toked out as long as barking seals at sunrise doesn't bother you much, LOL.

So that I can buy different types of pot and smoke it. I would only be there 2 or 3 days; so about 2 ounces of various types of bud for me to sample would be just fine. I would have about a $1,000 budget. Do you think this would be sufficent for bud and munchies? Well thank you for your help.
