Are there really people who think this is true...?
LSD is a dangerous drug....it brainwashes you. Ever hear of the acid=heaven on earth theory? You know who 'started' it? You know how many followers it has even to this day?
No, LSD won't bring heaven to earth. It's good for cosmo/reality/etc exploration...and that's cool...but you have to stay in touch with your own reality. If you're asking "is this computer actually here?" you need to stop eating acid.
Be careful....seriously. It's easy to let your own reality slip away from you. I've been there. I have plenty of friends who have been there. It's not fun....and once you stop eating acid and figure this out, you feel a lot better.
It's 'good' to an EXTENT.UserName AlphaNiner Reviewed by UserName AlphaNiner on . Are there really people who think this is true...? People who do acid and LSD, saying shit like "there is more to reality than we know of" and that there are "hidden doors" and shit like that. How fucked up can these drugs be to make people believe these things? Rating: 5

Overusing psychadelic drugs is terrible. YOu lose your sense of reality and illusion (as stated above) and have a high chance of developing some form of schizophrenia. Look at Syd Barrett.

Many cultures use drugs as a way to spiritually enter other dimensions and stuff like that. Ppl have been doing this throughout history. Many religious groups insist that certain drugs do indeed allow us to open up other dimensions.
Maybe having so many regular ppl (ppl who do drugs recreationally, not for religious purposes) say that drugs open up new doorways is confirmation that drugs do have the ability to do this. I mean, who's to say that these other dimensions don't exist?
But it depends on who's saying this and what context it's in. If they're convinced that they're in la la land and see green elves everywhere, then that's probably not the same thing as taking peyote with a religious group and being able to open up spiritual avenues.Let\'s go drink till we can\'t feel feelings anymore

it all makes sense to me man, its like basically a giant problem, just that our brains aren't advanced enough to figure them out yet [i.e., the meaning of life] well this probaly helps us opening parts of the mind we coudn't imagine doing on our own. I dont believe in anything as a drug, i take it more as something that will help me open up my mind, let me see more than i can see not on my own. Yes its true some people do believe in the 5th dimension the speed of time or whatever it is
Never Hope. Always Wish.

I dont know if its fair to think of taking certain drugs to get to a "higher level" of existence or perception. True you can see and feel incredible things and have a mind fuck but once youre body burns through the high its just like youre left with a somewhat hollow memeory that you cant feel so you just end up living for the high and questing for that feeling. I have very mixed feelings about psychotropics(sp?) but i think its just another way of looking at the apple..
I had a point to all that but i seemed to have lost it/ramble off
