Thank you guys for helping me out... all of you, seriously... helped me a lot.

I think i can deal with this a lot easier now.

I just have to earn my trust back, and make things right again.

There is no way i can change my mums mind, so i am just agreeing with her. There is nothing left to do except to do everything she says, put my social life in a bottle untill after school is finished () and focus on my studies and try to make her happy.... even if it makes me unhappy...very unhappy.

I seriously think i have matured considerably today....

Littlewing you are very mature- you sound like such a great kid! Your mom is just doing her best to take care of you and protect you until you are an adult. Her ideas about pot aren't necessarily correct, but her desire to keep you from harm's way is understandable. Many peole have mistaken ideas about pot, but in time some come around.
I think you have the right solution, just work hard, and earn back her trust, but you can still have friends and a social life even though it is restricted. And when you are able to smoke again, you will find that the high is extra extra fun, having not done it for awhile!
Stay busy, and try not to focus on what you lack right now- all will be right again in time. BIG HUGS to you!

I feel so bad for you,
my mom is INSANE.

She is a parole agent, her whole life she's been in some type of authority.

She was a cop, prison guard, prison teacher and now she is a parole agent that works in OAKLAND!!

She is like a drug dog and my weed is so,so,so very carefully and well hidden it takes me 5 minutes to finally grab the camoflauged bottle.

I don't use pipes, I don't smoke joints and I only use improvised disposable pipes.

I don't know what I would do if I ever got caught.

I only smoke when my mom is gone for 3+ hours.

I'm sorry for you.

My mom would absolutely ruin my life if she ever found out.

Remember- All things pass. When I'm in shit with my parents, I remember- IT WILL PASS. So what you do now, although important, remember- things pass.

Not an excuse to take it lightly, but the worst you simply have to deal with in the best way possible.

And for those people who think i should just smoke at school, you have to realise, if i get caught (which there would be a very big chance), i wont have a home to go back too. My mum would just never forgive me.

Also, i cant just leave on weekends, the school has to know where i am ALL the time. If i want to go to a friends place for a night, i have to get their parents to ring up the school and confirm it and i have to get my parents to do the same. AND if i want to go to a party, i have to fax a "party form" home so my parents can sign it and what not.

So it's not as easy as you may think.

and yes, they can search my room... last term some friends of mine got suspended for having alcohol in their rooms, which were searched.

and finally, the school is pretty tight assed. Massive work ethic and shit... they are pretty conservative.

(and about the partys, they are cool, but im the only boarder in my year who smokes. I smoke with my friends who live in town)

Tomorrow is the big day, where i have to go home for a night and talk to my parents about my "problems"

I'll post what happens tomorrow or the next day.

Im going to guess u are eigther really smart or privilaged if ur going to boarding school, but I am from a dirt poor family I dont think there is much of a differnce though just the suroundings. If ur inur last year of school then ur bout my age(17) and in that case at least ull be able to do what u want dude. When my mom found out I thought it was the end of the world too. Just keep doin ur thing and be more careful about it. And of coarse a little ass kissin cant hurt. you sound just like me(I even posted about it to, and if ur a good person what goes around comes around ull get urs its carma baby lol GOOD LUCK

Wow, im releived.

Things have seemed to work out all right.

Mum wasn't angry at all. She was really calm and understanding. We talked about itfor 5 minutes, and now everythings coooool...

The punishments still apply and everything, but we worked things out in a civil manner, which is a first...

Im just really happy that mum is talking to me and that everythings back to normal. Since mum has been so understanding to me, im gonna try and obey her rules, and not smoke weed when im at home.... or one every month or something.

well thats cool she was cool about it. Sounds like my situation. I got busted twice tho. But youll see you will gain her trust faster than you think. Whenever i got caught the 2nd time, was sad because i thought id never smoke again. But eventually everything return to normal. Thats one thing ive learned to help me cope with period of awkwardness after getting busted.

I'd move the fuck out and maintain a job to keep up with the rent cause that kinda mom scares the shit outta me.
Get a job now and save up cause you're almost 18!
