if your mom's like my radical conservative parents, you'll only get on her good side by agreeing with everything she says, and doing everything she asks. I feel ya when you say that she won't digest the logical arguments in favor of cannabis. I smoked off and on from age 12 to 17, then quit for 5 years, and now I've been tokin again for 2 or 3 years. I'm real glad I had the sabbatical; it proved that I saw the world through fully sober eyes and still in solemn moral conscience chose to smoke again. So I say be glad you have an opportunity to prove to yourself and the world that you can be sober and functional and still choose to smoke and be just as functional later on. Oh, the reason I stopped for 5 years is cuz cops busted me and my homie and brought me home to tell my 'rents at 3 am.
