Yes it does.
I have smoked it in Amsterdam, and the seeds are available from a number of companies.

how does purple haze not exist? i would like to know why every one thinks this. i mean what happened, did someone go around and kill all the purple haze plants in the world or something.

Some strains and hybrids have gone 'extinct'.
This isn't one of them.
The reason you don't see Purple Haze around much is, it's disappointing. There are many better haze varieties, and many better Purple varieties.
It's just not that good.

Well, technically the "Purple Haze" going around isn't the same genetics as the old "Purple Haze" that the hippies tell us about. You have a Haze, you have a Purple.. put em together you can call it "Purple Haze"... technically it is, but historically.. it isn't.

If this were true, then the various purple haze varieties in Amsterdam would be inconsistent. They're not.
Purple haze is a stable and recognizable strain. It's just not a very good one.
