Perhaps you Mods need to be a little less sensitive. No one is forcing you to mod here. Also a imagine there is a lot of people here that would love to take your place.

Don't get me wrong, most mods here are cool. I generally think when someone bitches at a mod they are really complaining about a rule that the owner makes.

However making moral judgements that are not covered by the rules and deleting or locking a subject because their own values is counterproductive. It is actually bringing more negative attention to mods.

Remember I love this site and most of you mods. Please don't ban me.

We have also been informed that everything does not need to be in the guidelines. The owners want a respectable site and that WE should use our best judgement when moderating.

This thread is really based on common courtesy....we deserve it as much as any other member here. It's always nice to log in to find your name or actions slammed across the forums. That would NEVER be allowed to happen to ANY member in here and we are members also.

LOL.....if we WERE as "sensitive" as stated.....THEN you'd have a reason to complain and I'm sure it would be brought to our attention. Also, as to the "moral judgements".....if we didn't make these judgements once again there are people that WE answer to that would remind us of such. Many topics are brought up for discussion that members never see, but you can be assured that there are NO loose cannons on the mod squad.

Oh ya, we don't ban people for putting things in a respectable manner like you did.....thank you for that!!

    Have a good one!

I appreciate the mods very much. We need to remember they are people just like us (well similar anyway). They have feelings and bad days and good days. They get tired, pissed off, happy and hungry. Just because you are typing to them doesn't mean they should be treated any differently than you would treat a normal human being that you would meet anywhere in the world. Sometimes mods make mistakes because they are human. They are volenteering, but it is just like work. Work where you get to be stoned and talk about weed and make friends, but work. Can you remember the last day at work when you made no mistakes. I make them every day. I also do some amazing work every day, just like the mods do.

If it seems like a mod is having a bad day, or picking on you, or whatever, just back off a day or two. What's the big deal? Whatever it is it's not worth it, or at least it can wait until later. Believe me, you'll lose any battle of power or cockiness. There's been talk of stooping to their level, but how do you know their level? You really know nothing about them and their current condition. Perhaps they are the greatest and smartest person in the world, but just having a bad day or week, or a day where they might tend to make more bad decisions than usual.

The longer you hang out here, the more you will begin to recognize certain characteristics of individual mods. Try to pick up on these, and you'll begin to understand which buttons not to push for certain mods. They are individuals, as different as snowflakes (but less flaky).

Hope that helps shed some kind of light. What kind, I don't know.

    peace n love n stuff

i came to this forum about 6 months back firmly convinced that i would be banned by the end of the year, i tend to be abrasive and i've never met a rule i liked. well, i soon found that i just couldn't bring myself to get pissed off enough to cross the line. this is a freakin' weed forum, damn it, and if you can't laugh off a couple of insults then you obviously ain't high enough yet. though i find find some of the rules a bit tiresome and some of the mods' decisions questionable, i just light up another joint and remember that my more inflammatory thoughts can always find a home in another forum.

i just follow one simple rule. i never come here unless i have enough of a buzz to feel the pulse of the earth. thanx mods, you're doin' fine by my count.

    :S5: hi ho
