    Late Transplation question.

hey i was wondering if keeping your plants about a week late in their original small pot (say 4") before you transplant them does it have any lasting effects on the plant, will the stunded growth resume vigorously after the roots have more room in the new pot?

the plant will blast off when it gets more root room... i've had solid rootballs and severely stunted plants turn out excellent.
