Ever get bored of smoking weed

i do sometimes, i just think im spendin all this money, for what
a head spin and a mellow feeling

then i think about quitting but i dont want to

im cutting down tho, maybe just a weekend smoker

Serious question... do you? or do you ever think about it and think this is getting boring same thing same feeling everyday

I remember when i first tried it i thought it was amazing (no doubt about it i still do) but it used to be a lot better than i think it is not, im sure you can all agree with me in saying that when you first used to do it it was a lot better and it was also good because you didnt need as much.

It good going out, doing things stoned, getting stoned with friends etc well (from my point of view) I used to do it every single day and i havent had any for the past 2 weeks (just on a short break) I didnt think i would be able to cope with it but its not as hard as you think it does get easier every day (its just the damn cigarettes that i cant give up now, not sure if i ever will be able to, btw anyone tried those patches do they do anything?? lol, back on subject...)

If im being honest with myself i used to confuse "wanting" weed with "needing" it i was an addict, and the first step is admiting it to yourself, I basically needed it every single day but i just kept telling myself that i wanted it, not needed it, it got to the point where i had to have weed to enjoy myself, otherwise without it everything was boring and life was just shit.

Now that ive managed to go these past 2 weeks without it, i dont think i want to go back to how i was (oh btw no offence to anyone who smokes it everyday at all) I dont "need" it anymore and at the moment i dont even "want" it, (because im saving up my money of course if i grew it i would be stoned as fuck every single day lol) but when i start smoking it again i would probably just want to do it once or twice a week which isnt that bad really in my opinion.

The bad thing about it is if you buy it all the time, and get really bad on it you realise that you end up spending all or most of your money on it and it sort of puts your life on pause because you cant buy anything real that you would appreciate more like a car or a house for example.

like the saying goes you control the drug dont let the drug control you or you abuse the drug dont let the drug abuse you something along those lines lol

Anyway i just wanted to get that out, thanks for anyone who read through that and if you just posted pretending to read but you really didnt then you know what fuck you lol

im bored with it also ... but i dont think i will stop anytime soon ... i sometimes really do need it because im so stressed out and prozac zoloft have never taken away my anxiety the way pot does ... and i feel like id rather just do that then be on all these meds

couldent have said it better myself. i just went 1 whole day without smoking im takin a little break for the same reasons as everyone else im fairly sure i can do it

I think the best thing for anyone to do when bored with marijuana is to chill out and introspect for a while. I'm preparing myself to take a "Lent-long" break as I'm calling it. I'm quite spiritual and religious, despite my love for Mary haha. Long story short, I'm going to stop for 40 days, as Jesus suffered for us... blah blah, you get the picture. I guess I'm looking forward to it becuase I know once its over I will feel empowered and in control of marijuana, rather than being under its spell (which has been my story for a few months now). I'm also looking forward to being able to live clearminded and sober. Somtimes a break is much needed for many smokers. So don't let it take you down, just chill out for a while and see where life takes you. Eventually you'll come back to it, becuase its awesome.

I've gotten bored of bud before. That's when I started doing coke. (Oh QQ I stopped) So getting bored of the ganja was for the worst. Nowadays I live life with weed as a very welcomed guest on my weekends.

I love weed but i think its good to take a break for like a week every little while. And i totally agree that it's way better when you first start. I've only been smoking for like a year and a half but i really miss the way it was when i first started. When i started i'd only do it like on the weekend or even every second weekend, and i'd really look forward to it. I still love smoking weed but i think unfortunately it's lost some of it's novelty.

i didn't read this thread all the way, but i feel that way when i wake and bake everyday for a while. Im glad school started up even though its tough, it makes me wait until about 2pm on schooldays to smoke. Besides that i can enjoy the WAB.,

I know for a fact getting high is no where as near as fun as when I first started out but there hasn't been one point in my life ever where I thought being high or smokin weed was boring. I mean it just changes your whole perception about anything and unlike most repetitive activities and stuff every time you do it there is something that's different than the last time, rather it be because of a different strain of smoke or w/e, there is always fun in smoking weed .
