Holding hits?

i dont know if anyone has said this already, but from what ive read about this subject (and i've read alot. mostly on theese forums) the most useful and most reliable information that i've gathered is that holding the smoke in your lungs does no good becuase the thc gets absorbed instantly but not all gets absorbed. in order to get the rest of the thc in that hit into your system, you should exhale and then breathe back in before the smoke is completely out of your mouth. that will re-mix the thc around in the smoke, giving another, (but less potent im sure) hit to you.
i do that usually 2-3 times and i realy do notice it helps conserve. i rarely smoke more than one bowl when i do that method.

i read somewhere that the majority of the THC is absorbed instantly, so basically holding hits is more of a personal preference than a requirement. i dont really hold my hits. just inhale exhale. and i get blazed

Holding hits does nothing but damage. A natural breath is roughly 3 seconds, you shouldnt have to hold it any longer than that. If you do your damaging your brain, your lungs... everything!

Theres no THC to be absorbed... it's absorbed instantly... so all holding it does is coat your lungs in a lovely thick tar, and while your not breathing... no oxygen... and what does that mean? It means not breathing turns people into vegtables.

Dont hold your hits... theres no point at all... unless you want to be ill.

yea never hold your hit just inhale as much as possible (even if it burns) then exhale 4 second later i get just as high when i don't hold hits in

Does he work in the field of medicine or science? If not, then I doubt he's going to make me look stupid. I've read many of his posts, and I'm not too impressed.

If I don't hold my hits for at least a few seconds, I feel like I'm wasting the smoke. Especially if I'm smoking good herb.
