Do you hold your hits, why or why not? If yes, how long?

I don't hold my hits, nor do my friends..but we did when we were younger.

I know a lot of older smokers that hold their hits for a long ass time tho.

i do, for about 3-5 seconds, unless were playing mexican sweat

I don't hold my hits at all. Get what I want in one hit and let it 'slide' out.
I'm pretty sure that holding a hit can actually kill some brain cells, but I could be wrong. Ususally I am.

I hold hits occasionally...but normally for only 3-5 secs.

If you got good lungs like me i hold it and hit again and hold it not stopping till i need to leave the smoke out which is a long time.

But isn't that cutting circulation off to the brain?
Doesn't matter how full your lungs can get if they're full of smoke. The brain needs air to make the smartness work.

Holding hits does nothing but damage. A natural breath is roughly 3 seconds, you shouldnt have to hold it any longer than that. If you do your damaging your brain, your lungs... everything!

Theres no THC to be absorbed... it's absorbed instantly... so all holding it does is coat your lungs in a lovely thick tar, and while your not breathing... no oxygen... and what does that mean? It means not breathing turns people into vegtables.

Dont hold your hits... theres no point at all... unless you want to be ill.

why does this thread show up a lot, i thought we all knew that almost all of the thc is absorbed instantly and you are just holding smoke in your lungs which is bad for you.
