How many seeds does it take?

Growers-in your experience with growing from seed - how many seeds do you have to crack to get a mid to high level cannabis producing plant? In other words - lets say you order a pack of seeds from a reputable breeder (Reservoir, Subcool, Soma, Serious, DJ Short, Mr.Nice etc). How many of them are chronic level and how many are crap?

if its a good strain and grown well, just one wil do.

if you mean selecting the best/strongest individuals for long term cloning or breeding, well you cant really put a number on it, theroreticly you could grow out seeds forever to find the strongest plants.

you might get a runt once in a while but reputable breeders strains are generally good, because a lot of breeding work has already been done to produce the seeds. its just the genetic wheel of fortune

So...Lets just say on an average of 10 seeds, how many do you usually clone and how many are culled? How many packs have yielded absolute shit?

i dont clone, i just buy feminised seed from dutch passion, all plants so far are good, but if i were to clone them i probably get about 2-3 very vigarous specimins per 10 pack, but i wouldnt describe any of the seeds so far as shit, the shit ones are good, and the good ones are monsters

well.... if u want killer bud i would suggest buying a killer strain not fem. 10 seeds clone every plant sex and pick your best one. but yeah all it takes is one femal plant of a good strain, all the genetics should be close and similiar in the same pack of seeds, they all came from the same place.
