Vitamin "A" fights infections. Zits are an infection. (Too much vitamin "A" in pill form can be bad for you, try to get it from natural sources, ie food- no problem that way). And about those salads- iceberg lettuce is lousy when it comes to nutrition. Try some Romaine, Red Leafed or other non-iceberg lettuce. Add tomatoes, shredded carrots, etc to the mix. Make your own dressings with yogurt- Mix it with a little milk, then add herbs (parsley,fresh ground pepper, Italian or taco mix), blue cheese or parmasian cheese.
