My only problem with this thread is its title. It's not the site that has an attitude problem; it's the angry attitude you've seen in some of its members, if we're reading you correctly, Skrappie. You titled it in a way that "shoots the messenger," as it were.

The only reason i titled it this was was to gain a lot of readers, and to avoid pointing fingers while getting my point across.

I love canna.com but a lot of you guys and gals are really disrespectful for no reason and i don't get it. Respect is universal, why do we keep giving each other crap for no reason. This should be the place you come and expect no attitude after dealing with the various crap we all go through each day.
I'm tired of seeing post ruined because someone wanted to be a sarcastic prick and attack another member personally because they didn't agree with a particular idea(l). I don't know why I'm writing this because hardly anyone reads posts that have more then three lines anyway. Canna.com, i hate your attitude but i cant get enough of you.

Ugh. Just what I'd love to see I'm sure. A site where everyone posts their own opinion and everyone respects it but simply posts their own as well. I've seen that happen on threads and its always boring as hell.

I hope you're not saying something like:
"I wish everyone treated everyone else the way I (personally) want to be treated. I wish everyone showed respect according to a rigid set of guidelines that were accepted by everyone. I wish I was smart enough to understand sarcasm, but failing that, I wish people would never confuse me by being sarcastic. I wish we could all be a certain stereotype of a stoner who is friendly, peaceful, maybe a little stupid but just very laid back. Differences frighten me, so I'll just complain about them rather than confronting them. Confrontation also frightens me. Even though its only through confrontation that understanding can be reached."

Anyway, I hope thats not what you're trying to say. And I suspect its not. But its just the sensation I got reading your post.

I agree with what a lot of people are thinking, and replying about. this is the Internet, and yes this is a site about cannabis and by nature be fun.
i am in no way saying that anyone should like everyone. Nor should anyone expect to be liked. I'm not asking anyone to be serious, or to 'knock off the crap'

I'm only trying to express the idea that behind every 'stupid question post' there was someone who was looking for a real answer, not a unwarranted personal attack.
Real people post here, so its only right to be as respectful as you would be to anyone else you would interact with in the real world who really wasn't harming you in any way; this is a community forum, so we should be able to converse as one. Even when upset its still possible to 'tell people off' and express your anger and frustration in a respectful manner.

being annoyed by someone is not really a big deal, and if any member thinks it is, please remember that anytime you hijack a thread to flame someone, grab a mods attention, or attack an opposing you are doing the exact same thing you were taking action against, just to a different interest group.


Before i forget, I was also not saying that cannabis.com is an unfriendly place, i enjoy it here, that's why i post. My original post was not a complaint, just an observation of what i and many others have noticed in some sections of the canna.com community.
