    cfl vs yield

When you use cfls do you get very much of a yield or is it pretty crappy.Im upgrading to a 250 watt hps soon but right now i got one plant flowering under cfl's and it doesnt look like there is much there. So if any of you have grown wit cfl's wats the average yield? And what will it be around with my new 250 Watt hps?

depends on the strain/how long you vegetate but in general hps/mh will produce more lumens and therefore more yield. However cfls can be very good for the entire vegetive stage as the lights can be as close as 2-3 inches away.

pictures of your plants would help. a fan between the light and the plant is fine. just buy an hps, they're fairly cheap anyway.

2 months is a long time to veg, so you should get a decent amount.
