Genetic preservation.
This is something I'd like to get some input on... My personal feelings on the subject are that we as growers should try to hand off 'unused' strains to the next person when we quit growing them for whatever reason... lots of breeding work has been lost over the years just to- I don't know- obsolescence? And that's no good. I'd LOVE to see an archive of these genetics for posterity, lol! *grrrr avoiding rant on current legal status making this overly complicated*

I had 'a growers code of ethics' as a sticky for a little while...don't mean to double post but it occurred to me that perhaps the growing community would like it to stay? I think it a subject really worth a sticky, both for us growers and for sundance, since I was trying to really show growing as a peaceful community activity that is being carried on by an ethical group of people. I think it makes a nice addition to the site. I DID Rating: 5
