Sticky Q! :D (sorry I should have put it here originally)

This is a copy of a post I stuck in the feedback section... I had 'a growers code of ethics' as a sticky for a little while...don't mean to double post but it occurred to me that perhaps the growing community would like it to stay? I think it a subject really worth a sticky, both for us growers and for sundance, since I was trying to really show growing as a peaceful community activity that is being carried on by an ethical group of people. I think it makes a nice addition to the site.

I DID notice that several other stickies have been 'downgraded'... just a bit of housekeeping I'm sure... don't want to throw the baby out with the bath-water, eh?

This was the original post with a bit removed:

"Hey I noticed that my 'growers code of ethics' has been removed as a sticky from the grow lounge.
Would whoever made that decision please contact me privately and let me know why?
I thought it was a nice subject for a sticky.
Thank you."

Genetic preservation.
This is something I'd like to get some input on... My personal feelings on the subject are that we as growers should try to hand off 'unused' strains to the next person when we quit growing them for whatever reason... lots of breeding work has been lost over the years just to- I don't know- obsolescence? And that's no good. I'd LOVE to see an archive of these genetics for posterity, lol! *grrrr avoiding rant on current legal status making this overly complicated*
