sometimes girls play games because they actually dont want the guy at all, they just want the attention.

now if we had to give a straight answer to, "do you want to go out with me?" and we said no - then the other party would be hurt and the fun would be over.

but if we dance around the answer, the party still has hope and the flirting can continue.

this is lesson 1 on how to avoid commitment.

That's very true..some girls just don't want to be mean and reject you but they are hoping you'll get the message. Maybe she's just not interested.

I think it makes the girl even hotter when they play hard to get sometimes. But their can be times where enough is enough and you just have to walk away and say your not worth my time if you are going to be like that. But I still like the challange.

the "game" actually comes from our instincts...when you see animals during mating season, they do the same thing...the girl is trying to lead you on, and in the end, see what guy will fight for her most...like how bucks fight with their antlers...in the end, its all about primal instincts...your trying to get the best female, and theyre trying to get the best male..only its the males that gotta try to get them, the females just gotta lead the most males on...

theres a lot more instincts in us then we believe...you can see it when driving on a long highway or freeway...you wont see anyone else driving for miles, and then a bunch of people....the herding instinct...

Like, I never tried to be anything other than what I am - and yet, my ex was continually trying to destroy that which she (obviously) found attractive in me - ie, "stop being so stupid and acting the fool!"...subsequently, that side of my personality was so berated and frowned upon, that I lost touch with it.
It is very difficult to regain that quality, so much so that it seems like I am acting 'out of character' now...when in fact, it is how I have always been.
Proabably didn't explain that too well, but it is a case of being subjudgated into something that one is not - and soon, you begin to believe it.

You hit the nail on the head, I can relate to you on so many levels with that. My
first girlfriend was so immature, I think she brought me down. I had a way different sense of humour than her, and she was always making stupid jokes or something, and I would be like what are you talking about, and she would say your no fun or something. So I learned to laugh at her goofy comments. And it pissed me off for so long, till I just said fuck it, you're so stupid! (well not that mean.)

Probably doesn't make any sense to you but it really made me fill that same feeling.

I didn't read the thread, but don't show a girl any more attention than she deserves. Chances are you're not the only one giving her any. They revel in it. You've dropped the signals/game/whatever, so my advice is stop the attention, and if she misses it, she'll seek it out from ya. Don't want to be just another guy hitting on her, do ya?
