prohibition is profitable for the government and it gives millions jobs. From law enforcement to social workers to prison guards. Im not sure how much the US budget for the "war on drugs" is but im sure its in billions. the more drugs the dea stops the bigger their budget is for next year the more people they can hire.

If the war on drugs ends all those people will be out of work. not all but a substantial amount.
