I understand Rasta, but we tend to complain alot about the 'Nanny State' and the governement being too involved in peoples personal affairs..In my view you can't have it both ways. Accept responsibility for your actions and the consequences thereof, no crying to the nanny state!

I have alot of sympathy with addicts. Its a social problem, not a legal problem. FFS, we don't throw alcoholics in jail., why should we do that with other addicts?

I have never understood this: With every crime there has to be a victim, right? So where is the victim in drug use? There isn't one, so how can there be a crime?

Social living is what we need, where drugs are not legalised, but regulated. Where education and health are the number one concerns so that anyone who chooses drugs at least gets a safe product and is educated about that product so they are fully aware what it is they are taking and the likely consequences of taking that particular drug.

End of rant..
