It would Cost the State less to just give them Gear! no debate. However they wont do that. If some one takes anything its down too them not Us or anyone Else.
Its not cold its real. Why should my house be unsafe when im out working because someone needs my dvd player too fund his or her habit?. Heroin only came about due to Opium being banned in the first place, now we have Programs which they cant kick either. Thats why all drugs should be legal End off. Ive got a lot of conpassion for anyone down on ther luck but were i turn off is when bleddin hearts say i have too suffer....as well
Peace out D....

But the state providing heroin isnt really tackling the problem either. The people taking heroin have to become junkies beofre the state can 'help' them. Its not going to take gear off the streets.
Plus, alot of meth ends up geting resold back on the street to anyone desperate enough to buy it, im sure the same could probably happen if safe heroin was being provided by the government. Junkies are watchged while they swallow the stuff undersupervision in some places but probably not all. If half of them get a chance they'll hold it in their mouth then spit it out and sell it.
Rastagal, did this addict die from taking a clinic's doseage, or did he take a load of methadone on his own steam in order to get high? The last time i was in London met a guy who had a whole bottle of methdone to supposedly last him the week. I could see how someone with that amount of methadone od-ing if they took too much by accident. I dont see how the state could be accountable in that situation.

I have never understood this: With every crime there has to be a victim, right? So where is the victim in drug use? There isn't one, so how can there be a crime?
Social living is what we need, where drugs are not legalised, but regulated. Where education and health are the number one concerns so that anyone who chooses drugs at least gets a safe product and is educated about that product so they are fully aware what it is they are taking and the likely consequences of taking that particular drug.
End of rant..

Very Spot On Knotter, very well put man. Well ok regulate drug's then. but i still think all drug's should be available in some form because when they are not Thugs take over. Its that simple. Being a junkie is bad enough but when the general population have to suffer as well it just ant good enough. Nobody wants any family member to be addicted to Heroin or coke but if they are which we couldnt stop if they want to do so. Why go to the stage of turning lots of people into criminals?. Ita vote winner to be a high ground person but its not in anyones interest to turn thousands of folk into criminals...
Peace Out D

You know what time it is LoD..
When will they get the message.. Prohibition does not work!!!
As well as turning otherwise normal law abiding citizens (you and me) into criminals it gives an unfuckingbelievable amount of power and money to the thugs.
I don't want blood on my grass...

prohibition is profitable for the government and it gives millions jobs. From law enforcement to social workers to prison guards. Im not sure how much the US budget for the "war on drugs" is but im sure its in billions. the more drugs the dea stops the bigger their budget is for next year the more people they can hire.
If the war on drugs ends all those people will be out of work. not all but a substantial amount.
If pot becomes legal in NY, im openning up A Dutch Bakery in Brooklyn ASAP! everyone is welcome
