i have personally grown DJ SHORT blueberry and its different than that...and the more "traditional" blueberry does not look like that either...

i have seen A LOT....i mean A LOT...of top quality buds...i mean ive had my MMJ card for 3 1/2 years...so besides the good shit i see on the streets...i see even more good shit at the clubs...ive literally seen it all...plus ive grown..

THE only way you'll EVER know EXACTLY what strain you are smoking is when you have bought the seeds from a reputable seedbank and have grown it yourself.

It's impossible to guess strains. Simple as that.

And, for your information, not all mmj clubs have legit strains. Now, im not saying they're all dodgy, im sure 80% of them are legit, but there are some selling bud under a false name.

That's awesome...so did you just send it your pics to them or something, or did they see it on that site? Wow first one too...did you get all your info online or did you have previous grow knowledge. I'd like to try one day, but believe me when I say....not a clue.

I sent the pictures to them. In every issue, they have a Pix of the Crop section in High Times, so I just looked for their e-mail address, and sent them a few pictures and a small writeup on it. They used my writeup word for word too. It's in the Nov. 05 issue, not 2006, I got that mixed up. I can't believe it's 2007 already!

It was my very first grow. It was Pure Power Plant, and this plant was no more than a foot in height. It was mega small grown with only a 100W of CFL's for veg., and a 150W hps bulb for flowering.

I got most of my info. online from overgrow. I asked a lot of questions and they all helped me out. When I got the ball rolling, that's when I became interested in High Times magazine and started reading that for some info. Cannabis was the first thing I ever grew in my life

I did have some previous knowledge from my first grow teacher. Me, him, and one other fellow set up a 25 plant growroom with a 1000W HPS bulb. I had the seeds, he had the knowledge, and the other guy had the place to do it, so I was kind of involved that way. When I really started learning on my own, I realized that my grow teacher wasn't that great of a grower. With 25 plants, we got only a LB, that's not even an ounce per. plant.

Too bad OG isn't around anymore as I would link you to their grow FAQ's.

If you are interested in growing, check out the Indoor growing forum here, and FAQ section is good too. Read up on tomato growing too. Their growing structure and pattern are almost identical to cannabis. Ask mod. latewood for growing info too. He helped me with many things and is a very knowledgable grower.

I have seen a few other people who saved the grow FAQ's from OG, so it's still out there somewhere.

It really isn't that complicated at all, so if you ever need any help, feel free to ask and I'll try to help. I'm a simple grower though. I keep things simple and the outcomes are always potent. Some people think keeping it simple is lack of knowledge, and that's not true. I just don't like to clutter my head with useless info.

Seed to soil water to soil, nutes to soil, and proper lighting times...taht's all you need to know.

Nice...that's great that they picked yours...you musta been stoked. And LOL...I would be just like you if I ever did it...very simple. I see some things people say about growing and I'm just like 'ummm...ok?' But, if I ever did, it wouldn't be anytime soon...but if the day ever comes or if my friends (they got their own apartment and have thought about it) ever need any info, I won't hesitate to ask ya. I can easily tell you know what your doing, rather than the other idiots in this thread lol. Anyway, thanks for sharing...very interesting!
