Look Look! two plants on 12/12 from birth

here are two plants that have been under 12/12 since seed. Under 15w of light (yah you read that right) they have both popped pistals even though thier nodes are not alternating (unless they are just starting). The taller one was dropped and snapped in half, and yet recoverd. So there was some stress. They do not have a fan on them...lol...they would never be able to hold weight...but I'm thinking that enviroment in the beginning plays a HUGE factor on gender! They were born on 12-24...KEEP in mind that there were only two, and they produced TWO females! Bree
    Enjoy!!!

On thinking, it could have been a bag with with hermie seeds...time will tell. But the plant that I grew in my window for weeks ended up female too....so I am still thinking cooler temps and less light might produce more females.....more experiments to follow, lol. Happy Tokin' and Growin' Bree

I've been growing for two years and for whatever reason my plants have always had rough life while seedlings; cat attacks, heat stress, cold stress, over/underwatering, wind blowdown and on and on. I've never had a male plant, ever. I hope it stays that way but it wouldn't be to bad to have some seeds if I have a huge problem and can't clone.

    Page 261 of the bible.

"Enviromental factors star influencing se the moment the seedling has 3 pairs of true leaves. Factor include but are not limited to:

-N and K levels. Increasing N makes more females. Lower N makes more males.Increase K increases the tendency for males;Lowering K level encourges female plants. A higher N level and lower K level in the first two weeks increases females.

-Temperature: Low temp increase the number of female plants. Warm temp makes more males.[I know this first hand having turned 9 plants into males]

-Humidity: High humidity iincreases the number of female plants. Low humidity increases male plants.

-Light Spectrum: More blue light incereases the number of female plants[MH]. More red light increases male tendencies[HPS].

-Photoperiod: Fewer hours of daylight(e.g. 14 hours) increases the number of females. Longer days (e.g. 18 hours) make roe male plants.[think of all those people on 24 days]

Stress: any enviromental stress tends to yeild more male plants when growing from seeds."

Sounds pretty consistent with what your saying bree

Chin up Mrs. greenjeans. My set up took temp well above 100 when I had my plants turn on me. They were also way over watered. They can still take alot of abuse and I would keep faith in your babies.

yeah, they take it for the team! Ive had plants go hermie and then back to full female, i had 5 femals go hermie and then only one fo them remained hermie with bannanas. So they can take alot of abuse and the results are neccessarily perminant. Summer heat sucks alot even in a basement, temps are perfect in the winter.
