Actually the Pentagon is interested in, and has enough faith in, the existence of global warming to be planning for naval control of the Northern passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
And I'm not talking subs. I'm talking about surface vessels.
This is being worked out NOW, since the design, planning, approval, and eventual construction of a warship can take up to 20 years.
