my yearly doctor checkup was today

now, every time i have this check up they ask me to pee in a cup and i do. But lsat time i had a check up, i hadn't smoked weed, but this time i've smoked like every day for the last half year. Anyway, i'm not worried or anything cause i know they wont tell the police or anything, but do they check for thc when they take your urine samples at doctor's check ups? basically what i'm asking is will my doctor know that i smoke.

Nothing to be worried about. They don't test for anything you don't tell them to. Drug tests cost money.... It would be bad business to test you for no reason.

I've always wondered the same question. I'm 17 now and i havent had a checkup in 2 years. The last time I went I was smoking barely. But now I smoke just about everyday and my parents don't tell me when my checkup is.

They are testing for such things as blood in your urine, kidney function or bacteria etc....nothing to do with drugs period. Your doctor won't know you smoke unless you either tell him or drop a big joint on the floor on your way out.

I smoke weed and often go for blood tests, the doctors know I smoke weed and don't really care. Actually if anything they are quite understanding about it.

Ha,,,they never even test for what I should be tested for... I had a heart attack and I never got tested my cholesterol,,,I had to ask the hospital to do it...

It's true,,,lab work is money and they do not test for anything that is not ordered/prescribed by the doctor...
