Incense = suspicion

I burn incense, but not to cover up the smell of weed, because I dont even smoke in my room, but anways my parents are suspicious as hell now.

Yea it just so happens that I smoke weed and I'm crazy about how clean my room is, and my room is 20x better when it smells like STRAWBERRIES! Because I love strawberries!

Well I can't burn incense in my room because it leads my parents to beleive I'm smoking. I should tell them I only smoke in the garage so I can burn incense again, eh? haha

Haha, when I first got caught, I wasn't allowed to use incense, lol.

It wasn't originally suspicious for me though. My dad used/uses incense. Hes like, into meditation and spirituality and stuff though. I got him an incense burner for his birthday once (I got it back...guess he didn't like it, but its badass 'cause its a dragon on a bottle and it glows under blacklight!) so yeah. I don't burn it no more though, just kinda a waste of money. Although I wouldn't mind, because sometimes my room smells like shit. But its not worth the trouble.

But yeah, good point. If I ever have a kid and they use incense, I'll be like "Yo homeboy wheres the weed at? "

If your a teen and trying to b.s. your parents that are in their 30s to early 50's........lol.....we old timers have been there and did that. Just a bit of advice.....

I love good incense too! I used it before I started smoking....my parents use it all the time. I love anything that makes my apartment smells good. I love candles and burning oils too. Now that I think of it.....maybe I just like things that burn :rastasmoke:

not trying to b.s. my parents at all...i burned incense before i smoked weed and i never smoke in my room....my incense and weed stay seperate

I feel like I'm repeating half of the people who have posted so far, but it's the same with me; I've liked incense since i was about ten or eleven, way before I started smoking, and I'd been burning incense in my room for at least a year before I started smoking. For me, like jagerbom, weed and incense stay separate... although I can't say I don't love walking into an incense-filled room while baked...

My mom thinks the same thing, but she is fine with me toking, she actually came in the other day before my time to go to work and toked with me.

I'm not sure about everyone here, but in this area, anyone that uses incense, the first thing people think of is "covering up weed".

I only mention this because i see a lot of teenager stories about how they cover up the weed smell with incense. I just keep thinking to myself that they're just giving themselves away. Like seriously, what 15 year old would be into incense just because they like a good smelling room or what not? Just a heads up I guess, and an inquiry I suppose :P

And the ones who go in the washrooms for 10 minutes then spraying body spray and cologne like crazy to cover it up.

Parents aren't stupid. They will wonder why their chil;d is going to the washroom so much only to make themsleves smell pretty, just to go sit back down on the couch or in their room.
