Umm, actually 707 would be pretty much right in the middle of the marijuana growing capital of the U.S. so.....
I've lived, and smoked, in FL, Ill, and now in San Francisco. I've also bought weed in about 1/2 dozen other states. Without a doubt the weed we get here on a regular basis in Northern California is the best I've found. The key here is "regular basis". I've gotten awesome buds other places too, but that was once in a great while, not all the time like we get out here.
The reason we have such good weed here is simple. Like Amsterdam, it's because we have some of the most lenient laws marijuana laws around. A shitload is grown "legally" as medical marijuana. And a good portion of what is grown illegally local LE doesn't give a damn about. What this comes down to is that growers are more willing to take their time and do it right. Not rush it and cash in before they get caught.
Sure, there are good growers everywhere. But there's a difference between growing 5 great plants hidden away in a closet and an operation growing hundreds, if not thousands, of high quality plants in ultra-sophisticated indoor grows. The big difference is that it just ain't the grower and his close friends getting the great buds, it's everyone.
As for your buds aznson, they look pretty good to me. I wouldn't call them mids but....well...maybe straddling the line between mids and dank. But then again, who knows. I've smoked shitty looking weed that knocked me on my ass and have been less than thrilled with some absolutely gorgeous buds.
