Educated guesses please
ahoy all, I started this grow mid December and I lost track of when I switched the lights to 12/12. I'm wondering if some people with a fair amount of experience could possibly tell me how much longer I sould give them, and also the soonest I could cut them down while still getting some somewhat decent results.
I currently have 8x23watt and 5x14watt cfl's on 3 plants
They are 20", 23" and, 27" tall.
As for the strain, I don't know, random bag seed.
Thanks for your time,
Chuck

Uh they look like they have been budding 2 weeks.
Look up the trichome chart to see when they need to come down.
You probably have 6 weeks or so to go.
More lights too even though the plants DO look healthy.

here are the tops of the other 2 plants. The first 2 pictures show where the one came into contact with one of the bulbs, that little bugger was growing really fast until that happened. I'll post full shots as soon as I have them.

Educated guesses please
Here are the recent photos I promised.
Looking at the pictures makes me wonder, has anyone else used a trouble light during a grow? I'm personally using 2, and the one seems to be doing wonders for the shortest plant. I just now named the short one Jenna after a good friend of mine (she's short hahaha get it?). Just shows to grow you that they like cfl's to be quite close.
I'm so lame.
Again with Jenna, I'm noticing crystals forming on the leaves now, a good thing I know. What I find odd is that she has the smallest and least ammount of buds. Is there any reason she is forming the crystals and the 2 bigger ones not? This is the same girl that grew into the light and burnt the tips of 4 leaves just before I put her into flowering. The burnt tips are the only difference I am aware of. I am 95% positive they are all of the same strain too.
Suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated!
Chuck

Is there anyway that you could hang those CFL's more between the plants, lighting the sides as well? I think you'll like the results better if you do this...Right now only a few inches of the tops are covered the way you have it fashioned. That is why the shorter one is doing so well. If you can't hang the light perhaps you could LST? (Do a search) .They look good btw. Bree

She is the tallest of my girls and the one I visit with the most.
All three girls have been budding for about 3 weeks now.
As you can see I've had to get somewhat creative with the lighting, but if it works use it right?
Peace.

Even though they are from the same strain/bag, they are likely different phenotypes, meaning they have different individual characteristics. A different flavor, higher yield, higher potency, different growth structure. Since it was from bagseed, the genetics weren't specifically singled out and bred for any particular traits - the seeds were probably accidental, from a rogue male or hermie. It may wind up being nothing like the bud it came from, or very similar. You can try and reveg the one that looks the best and see if you can get a mommmy out of her - then the buds will be identical.

I do have more lighting in place, I moved the lights that are easily moved for the pictures. I would like more lights, and do have more bulbs, just nothing to hang them by, I have been searching but so far no luck, however the search will continue. Thanks for the advice!
