I guess that's what I get for going to a school filled with kids from long island/staten island who don't know why they're republicans and down their sorrows 5 days a week at the bar.

I need advice on schools with a population of openminded liberal people. I'm probably majoring in humanities, maybe international studies or something asia related. or maybe just straight up philosophy. I'd also really want to be in a city as i don't want to need a car.

My dream is Vassar, but it's soo expensive. and i'll never get in.

liberal
not expensive
urban setting
not ivy league

can it be done? please help
