Need help finding a liberal minded college

    Hey.
    i'm on the prowl.:rastasmoke:

I went to Marist College for two years but ended up hating it due to the ridiculously materialistic and high school-esque atmosphere. I guess that's what I get for going to a school filled with kids from long island/staten island who don't know why they're republicans and down their sorrows 5 days a week at the bar.

I need advice on schools with a population of openminded liberal people. I'm probably majoring in humanities, maybe international studies or something asia related. or maybe just straight up philosophy. I'd also really want to be in a city as i don't want to need a car.

My dream is Vassar, but it's soo expensive. and i'll never get in.

    liberal
    not expensive
    urban setting
    not ivy league

can it be done? please help

I went to Boston University. Good school in a very liberal city. But it seems to be a big cock fight when it comes to locating weed sometimes.

Need help finding a liberal minded college

after being in jersey for so long i decided that i can't stand the cold, i need somewhere warm. so i might have figured it out. california!

i have a plan, if i go to a community college there, claim residency, get honors (3.0 gpa) then i can transfer to a state school and get in-state tuition, and probably a scholarship. california seems perfect, it's warm, it has liberal openminded people, and i can go to a school thats in a city. does this sound realistic?

I really don't like liberals (or at least those who label themselves as such). I also can't stand republicans. I think both parties are loony.

evergreen state meets most of those, not big city. but it's only an hour away from seattle and portland. hugely open-minded liberals taht go there, total stoner school. i'm transferring in the fall, haha.
