Epidurals aren't all that great for the baby anyway. I had to have one with my second baby, because my body just wouldn't relax enough to let her out. But I tried to avoid it. With my first baby I didn't have anything, natural all the way. That was an experience LOL! Talk about mind expanding. I saw whole new galaxies of pain. Anyhow, my epidural site was higher on my back than my tat is.
