I know a lady that has a VERY nice snake tat wrapping around on her breast.....she said she didn't feel a thing. A tattooist once told me the fleshier the area the less pain, but then I've also heard that the stomach is VERY painful.....must just depend person to person.

I know with mine the inner arm and wrist areas were REAL painful.

Nice chart P4b. I watched my mom and dad get there tattoos and my mom got her on her ankle. She said it hurt like hell especially when it came to the part over the bone. Ive had a few piercings like my tounge and eyebrow, no longer have them, but Ive always wanted to get at least one tattoo.

There is this show that comes on National Geographic I believe and its called Taboo. They have different shows like Taboo: sex, piercings, tattoos and such. I was watching one and seen them split this guys tounge. Talk about cringing while I was watching it. My tounge hurt from just watching it. Not to mention seeing people suspend themselves with those huge hooks, that loks painful. There is also this type of tattoo where they cut you. No ink just cutting your skin, after it heals there is a raised scar. Its called Scarification. Ill post some pics.

I watched the same special. VERY interesting. There was that one tribe that used scarification on their children when they reached a certain age. UNREAL.

I got my tongue pierced but I don't know about splitting it..........not quite yet at least. Looked like it could have its advantages.

When I seen them hold down that little boy he was about 2 or 3 and do the scarification on his face, I was like OMG WTF. Its a tradition and if they dont do it, its like spitting in there ancestors faces. I felt so bad for that baby screaming I about couldnt watch it. It was like a car wreck you just cant help but look.

Get something that is meanignful to YOU! Not just something you think looks cool or pretty. Think it out hard before you get it, don't just get it on a whim and have some input if you have an artist makeup a drwaing. Like another person said, it should be a very personal thing.

the first one was an ex's nickname...prolly the stupidest thing i've ever done lol...its on the veeeeeeeeeery top of my boob so slip took the pic really close so you couldn't see any boobage... (it was my 2nd tat)

the second one is actually the first tattoo i ever got. after me and slip were together 11 months and split up...years ago...for symbolical reasons i changed the "perky" looking pink heart to black.

the last one is the one i really really love. it was my last one and i decided i wanted a "religious" themed one...and i got my name in pretty pretty writing...

my next one will be a tribute to my father that passed 3 years ago, and i'm gonna design/draw it myself...so it'll be awhile for that one...

The least painful place I'd say would be your bicep. I don't really find tattoo's all the painful, kind of strangely enjoyable really. Becareful what you pick though, I think it'd be unwise to pick a meaningless design.

I know what you mean dude, when I got the one going from collarbone to collarbone it just felt like an awesome massage machine lol.
