Distilled Water and PH???
I bought some walmart distilled water. The PH tests at about 5.5 I would guess from the chart. Should I use it like this or do I need to PH UP it???

Distilled Water and PH???
Actually distilled water has a low pH because of the atmospheric gases in it, so depending on temperature (temperature affects solubility of gases) at the time of bottling, how long it has been open, etc. you might get diff readings.
Anyway if you're using distilled water #1 step is calmag plus.
Then add nutes. Then test pH.
Most growers should be fine with their tap water BTW. Except for sulfur guy... you've got a problem

Distilled Water and PH???
Thanks for the quick responses!
Can you tell me what the calmag plus does for me???
I have used tap water in the past... The water here is pretty hard though and has lots of white specks in it if you let it sit overnight... ???
Also, I am just using the dropper PH tester... 4 drops in 1/2 of the small bottle, shake and match to chart.
I also had someone else recheck it and it looks like 5.5+...
SHOULD I LEAVE IT or should it be 5.8-6.0??? Wont the PH rise as it is in the dro buckets?

Distilled Water and PH???
Yo!
Calmag gives back only the good stuff that was removed in the distillation process. Your plants NEED calcium to be healthy!
If you get little white specks in your tap water WOW it's REALLY hard!!!
Another nice thing about adding calcium is that is does raise the pH a touch.
Nutes/supplements/calmag 1st then pH up.
Yo.

Distilled Water and PH???
I wish... but the space is compromised...
I doubt I would ever be safe using it again.
I think once you bail from a spot, whatever security (theives, the law, whatever) isuues you had still remain there... like eternal bad karma for your grow.
We'll see what the future holds.
