    Question about heart excercise

Ok I keep bugging my mom and she says I'm going to the doctors next week lol. But I have a question, if I have heart pains but it's not anything serious can doing a lot of exercises make it feel better or put it in a better condition? I'm wondering because it does beat faster when exercising so maybe that helps it to do it's job better? Just wondering. I know I have been complaining and asking about this type of stuff for a long time but I really don't want to get into why I still haven't had it checked out but I'm trying to get it done every day I swear..

    Question about heart excercise

Hey, Orangeman. Birdie's in there eating some much-needed dinner, but if you're OK with it, I'll try and answer your question. Glad you're going to the doc. She'll be thrilled to hear that, too.

If your heart pains turn out to be nothing serious once you've been checked out, sure, it's fine to exercise. It's good for you. It does strengthen the heart, and it's supposed to raise your pulse/heart rate. That's how exercise strengthens the heart, by making the heart muscle work harder. Then with continued exercise, it ends up slowing down your resting heart rate (as opposed to your exertion heart rate when you're exercising), which is an indication that it's having to work less hard to do its job. Hope that makes sense.

So the bottom line is yes, exercise is good for you and strengthens your heart. But considering your complaint about chest pain, you might want to make sure you get your doc's OK before you do a lot of hard, cardiovascular exercise. Just to be on the safe side. Don't worry, though, if you feel your heart speed up when you run down the hall or up some stairs. It's supposed to do that.

    Question about heart excercise

I was having heart pains but then it tunred out to just be heart burn which isnt my heart at all. Also I get pains in my left pectoral and I sometimes think thats my heart but its just the muscle and I also found out from looking at an x ray were the heart really is.. I never knew the heart was like in the center left side under your left pectoral... and I always thought the heart was directly behind my left pectoral and thats were I got the pains and turns out theres no heart behind that spot lol

    Question about heart excercise

Yeah I have pains in my far left area too..maybe I have something similar, I don't know but my freggin mom is so lazy!! she needs to get up on her job and get an appointment. I even told her that all while she was slacking on my check-up that I smoke marijuana to stop the pains and it does stop the pains temporarily doesn't make it go away but it feels better all the time when I have been smoking .

    Question about heart excercise

huh... i have gotten left pec stings a long time now, i used to fear it was my heart, but i was so young, i dismissed it, and later, i learned, too, that the heart is more central left than upper left, as i too had thought.
