growing outdoors
The earliest you can plant outdoors is after the last frost of the season... so probably around April for you. You can't just leave them alone though. Especially when they're young you have to keep an eye on them to check their water/nutrient needs. You even have to water them when they're older, most likely.

If you plant mid-summer your plants won't be as big (good idea for trying to attract as little attention as possible) and you'll get less yield.... but still a nice yield. A lot depends on what soil you use, nutrients you use, water, sunlight, etc. too, remember.jsn9333 Reviewed by jsn9333 on . growing outdoors I was gonna do an outdoor grow this season in kentucky and I need to know when is the best time to plant them and will I get some decent plants if I just plant them in the ground and let them grow on their own till harvest time Rating: 5
