The whole thing is intended to make people look closely at their beliefs about what marriage means... it is love, or simple procreation? If it's just love, as people will HAVE to admit, then there goes another dumb anti-gay argument.

They are just trying to get publicity/exposure/discussion going at the highest levels of government.

I was actually looking for the story where I watched on TV that toddler accidentaly glued his eyes closed with super glue, and the father tried to remove it using acetone. Not only did the kids eyes stay closed, he suffered chemical burns of his face...but anyways...
