Lack of micro nutes and minerals just don't cause such problems in every day life , especially in a plant only a few months old from birth to harvest. If those were mine and I saw such damage I'd invest $22 in a Brita Water Filter. It's a miracle tool made for us that changes bad tap water into a wonderful elixer of life!

Thanks for the input Madeline! I should get one of those anyway, just on principle. I rarely drink water, cause I hate the way it smells and tastes. Like a compost pile with bleach in it. I need to drink more water, and I am more likely to do it if it's filtered. Right now I'm spending too much on bottled water for drinking.
