Ms Jeans, as long as you're using fresh, top quality potting soil there should be no mineral definceincies and I have yet to see a reliable test for us commoners to test for such probs, unless you have a connection with the local agriculture engineer. I have to agree with Zandor here and call it a PH problem. Lack of micro nutes and minerals just don't cause such problems in every day life , especially in a plant only a few months old from birth to harvest. If those were mine and I saw such damage I'd invest $22 in a Brita Water Filter. It's a miracle tool made for us that changes bad tap water into a wonderful elixer of life!
